A look inside

Recent lessons, in Adam's words.

Firearms

Seven Feet of Truth

Timed draws at different distances as a threat closes in, and what that means for anyone who carries.

"Inside of seven feet, you better have hands and feet skills, because the weapon is not going to protect you."
Awareness

How to Be a Hard Target

Reading the baseline of a place, varying your routines, and carrying yourself so predators pass you by.

"Notice early. Decide early. Move early."
Mindset

PACE Planning

A printable handout: primary, alternate, contingency and emergency plans, with the triggers set before emotion takes over.

"Plan your Primary like it will not fail. Plan your PACE like it might."
Home security

The Science of Thresholds

Special operations room-entry principles for your own house: fatal funnels, target identification, and what to do once the alarm goes off.

"Home security isn't just prevention. It's what you do in the ten seconds after prevention fails."
Awareness

Exit Mapping

A three-to-five-second scan that sorts every exit into primary, secondary, emergency and obstructed, before you step into a bad situation.

"The escape plan has to exist before the fight does, not during it."
Psychology

The CIA's KUBARK Manual

How authority, urgency, secrecy, fear and ego get used to manipulate people, and how to spot it when it's aimed at you.

"Understanding how influence works makes you harder to manipulate."

Questions

Before you join.

Do I need HAVOC or DIFFUSE first?

The Lab stands on its own. If you own a course, the Lab is where you keep building on it; if you're new, the library gives you plenty to start with.

How often is new training added?

Most weeks. Since the Lab opened, Adam has averaged about two posts a week: lessons, video breakdowns, handouts, field stories and answers to members.

How do I get in?

Right after you join you get your login to the Lab on the Centerline Tactical training site. It works on your phone, tablet or computer.

How do I cancel?

Email us and we'll cancel your membership; you won't be billed again. The details are in our refund policy.

Readiness is a habit. Build it every week.
